Account Manager
Our founder wins the accounts. You run them. You'll be the day-to-day lead on our biggest program accounts: online company stores, employee and dealer merch programs, and annual gift programs. Our founder brings the strategy and the product ideas. You make them happen, keep the client thrilled and help the program grow.
Eastern Time business hours – most of our clients run on Toronto time.
Run the Accounts (core of the role)
- Be the client's go-to person on our largest program accounts
- Turn ideas into orders: quotes, product presentations, mock-ups and custom orders
- Watch program inventory like a hawk and get reorders moving before anything runs out
- Hand off cleanly to our Production Coordinator, who runs proofs, production and shipping, and keep clients in the loop
- Keep HubSpot clean, with every contact, order and next step logged
Grow the Accounts (in quieter weeks)
- Reconnect with past clients and get them ordering again
- Grow existing accounts with fresh ideas
- Help run our LinkedIn and email outreach
- Help market our programs with monthly email blasts, Instagram, catalogues and store promos that drive orders
What's in it for you
- A competitive base salary, depending on experience
- Profit sharing: you share in the profit from the accounts you manage, paid quarterly
- Work from home, anywhere in Canada. No commute, no cubicle.
- Real flexibility. Gym at 2? Dog walk at 3? Mid-afternoon bike ride? Go for it. We care about results, not hours at a desk.
- You're joining a growing team. Your work gets seen, and it gets rewarded.
- A direct line to the founder: real mentorship, no layers, no bureaucracy
- Room to grow: run the accounts, then own a book of business, then grow with us
- Cool brands, creative projects and samples. Lots of samples.
You're Probably…
- 3+ years in account management, client service or inside sales. Promo products or branded merch experience is a big plus.
- Organized to a fault: lots of orders in flight, nothing dropped
- The person who catches the pricing error before anyone else
- Warm on the phone and sharp on email. Clients love hearing from you.
- Comfortable with numbers like inventory levels, margins and reorder points
- Self-driven. You do great work without someone looking over your shoulder.
This role isn't for you if…
- You want someone telling you what to do every hour
- You'd rather send an email than pick up the phone
- "Good enough" is good enough for you
